Overall, it's quite good, but there are some errors, probably due to being modelled from a restored aircraft.
The prop spinner is slightly odd, the ailerons are the wrong type (metal-covered, rather than fabric), and the oil cooler fairing is the Mk.V...
That Spit, from 72 Sqn based at Acklington in Northumberland, is going to be the subject for my Revell 1/32nd scale kit, which I'd hoped to enter into this GB.
Doubt I'll have the time though, as I'll be back and forth from Norfolk from next week until the end of September, and the B-24 project...
I usually use the thin tissue paper that covers most decal sheets.
Paint it, cut to size, and fix in place with PVA. Let it partly set, then either depress where the gun port holes are, or rip it open and then smoke stain as required.
The inside of the doors, and the wheels, seem to be white, which is odd. But if this is a "colourised" image, then that could explain it.
However, there is evidence of what might be overspray on the tyre, so perhaps ?
Agree the slipper tank is MSG.

I've never seen them on any Spitfire.
The seat could be the red-brown composite type, and I've seen these in airworthy restored Spits, but more likely the metal version, painted in the grey green colour.
