Not in Japan, but an incident here in the US that may be similar to what is suspected in Yokosuka.

I remember another recent incident -

Chinese man suspected of graffitiing word "toilet" at Yasukuni shrine(June 3, 2024)

I also remember that another Chinese man exploded a toilet at Yasukuni Shrine a decade ago.
They may be looking for a toilet in overseas in fact :D
