I have been inspired to do This Marine corsair.
It is an A1 Korean era aircraft. My understanding
of the A1 is that it was a hotrodded F4U-5?
Bigger engine, more armor, more hard points
for carrying stuff underwing etc.

So my question is.....................!
Is there a kit for a True A1 kit anywhere???
Will an F4u_5 be the same? A1 had an
extended engine cowl.
I also have found the Revell dash 5 kit
was a re-boxed Hasegawa, but cannot find
on of them, it's Less expensive!!!!

I also did my own decal art, mainly this one
is not available, and..... none that are available
are not really accurate!

Heller, Hawk and Hasegawa made Vought AU-1 models.
The only real external difference to correct on a model would be the engine cowling inlets from the -5 to the faired over bulges of the AU-1 and the blade antennae.
