Manufacturer: Revell
Model Type: Curtis P-40B
Details: RAF 112 Squadron in Egypt 1941

My first time in a GB. :)

I have decided to do a Revell P-40B kit. I thank Wojtek, Paul and everyone else who helped get me set up for this with profiles, cockpit interior colors and various other things. Today was a rainy day, so I said, hell with it, let me start.

My P-40 cockpit is going green. I didn't have interior green so I used beret green with yellow mixed. The ration is 3 drops of Beret Green and 1 drop of yellow, I used toothpicks to make the color.

Today I painted the floor board, joystick and pilot. Tomorrow I won't be able to do any work, soccer game and then a baseball game. I will be stopping by the hobby shop though so anything you guys think I'll need to pick up, just list them :D

No sun today, raining, so pictures are bad. Will get you guys better pictures when the sun comes out.

EDIT: Can someone add GB to my title, if you think it's necessary, I forgot

Littles Harrisons first GB, awwww.! Haha, looking goooood man.. :D

Looking good Harrison. But the pilot figure is not necessary. Also when you are mixing paints you have to add some thinner.
Also show me what kind of brushes you use. Take a nice pic of these please and post here.

Okay , I can't go now currently cause it's quarter to 6 in the morning here. Everyone is still sleeping except me and my brushes, paints and the model itself are in my room. I will though when they get up.

So I should remove the pilot too?

It is up to you only if you let the pilot figure sit there or not. Personally I don't like to put these figures in cockpits. Most of them aren't correct both in shapes and uniforms, equipment etc....

Here you are Wojtek!

I have more brushes elsewhere but they are almost identical. These are the four brushes I am going to 'use' on this build. These are the same 4 brushes .

Excellent Harrison....these two on left ( the big flat and the smaller flat one ) use for painting big surfaces, these two thin use for painting small details. But you need another one usually numbered as 000. I'll try to find its pic in the net and show you.

Thanks guys! I have 2 pictures of what I did today, painted and installed the flap control or lever. Whatever it is
