Bruce as a suggestion the looks of the crate might be more effective if you use the old olive drab paint job instead of aluminum. go check the little freinds web-site out and punch in 78th fighter group. go to gallery and you are set to go for many different Jug camo-markings for the 78th fg.
 
cheers guys,I checked out the little friends website erich and there are plenty of good photos but i'm going to stay away from the olive drab/neutral gray paint scheme this time that would be three in a row for me and i need to have a change.But i have a razorback p-47 that i might do in either the 78th scheme or the checker tails but i have to get the decals.p.s i also have another p-47 bubble top but i want to do this in the RAF cammo in the P.T.O cheers.
 
here is the first photo update on the build so far,the interior is painted and detail picked out and waiting to be put together.

thanks guys, as to being a beginner i'm no scratch builder yet hopefully one day AK4,for now i'll stick to building out of the box.:)
