Nice work Wayne! I can now see the 'grey' crosses. Dan, if you need any, I've got some 1/48th scale white-outlined grey crosses that match this scheme. Give me a shout if you want them mate, and they'll be on a big silver bird before you can say 'have a pint!'.

Very interesting shot of Gelb 9 Wayne, lots of exhaust staining along the port wing root.. Gotta agree with the wing camo as well... The tail wheel looks really really short, kinda interesting...

Just sprayed first coat white primer over it yesterday and I have some more sanding to do around the machine guns... Lots goin on and limited time....

OK, update.... Been tryin to get the blue band color down, and here's my final product for comments/corrections before sprayin the Gustav....

I think its pretty close, and it'll be sprayed over the white primer instaed of right onto the plastic, so it will be slightly lighter....

Compare the sprayed blue to the blue on the profile....

Is it close enough???? Any idea how to make it better/closer??

Ah, now it has come up after a second try, system is playing up here at work....

The Blue looks ok on my screen it is darker than the profile but I think the profile is just a tad too light anyway.

Remember, its gonna be sprayed onto the white primer on the model... The scrap piece I sprayed was not primed....

A drop of white??? Leave well enough alone??? Whats the general consensus????

If that's without a white primer, I think that you'll be alright Dan....will make difference spraying onto a white primer.
