Done : Bf109G-6 Yellow 9 of JG54 Gruppe Build

OK, the new airbrush has to have a test subject...... Here it is....

The Academy 1/48th Bf 109G-14 that Wayne was nice enough to send me awhile ago....

Ive run into some difficulty in figuring out which crate I want/can do with the decals I have... Chris was nice enough to supply me with 3 sheets, Aeromaster Decals Augsburg Eagles series...

48-366 Part 1?
48-352 Part III
48-384 Part VI

I did a decent search of these 3 sets and found squat as far as what they go to, or even if any of them are for a G-14.... I have the set that came with the kit, which includes 1 doable crate, Blue2 of 16./JG53, flown by Gefreiter Alfred Michael Jan 1945, Halstoff France....

I just dont like it that much, would like to do something different....

I included pics of the decals I have.... NJ Chris, any idea where these decals u sent to me belong???

I'll have a look as well, to see what I can find buddy. In the meantime, here's two G-14 profiles for you....

"Black 2" Bf 109G-14/AS W.Nr. 782354 of Oblt. Ernst Scheufle, 14./JG4. Scheufle was shot down by AA fire and wounded in this aircraft on 3 December 1944, near Grosshau (10 km near Düren) after strafing an Allied army column.

"Black 8" Bf 109G-14 of Oblt. Rolf Schlegel of 10./JG4, based at Jüterbog in March 1945

Yeah, I know what you mean. I built nothing but 1/32 for a year or so.

Looking forward to this one!

1/48th is huge to me and my two 1/32nd kits seem massive
