Leading Ace of the 20th FG with 9 Victories. He shared a Me-262 kill, along with Lt. Edward Hayden, of the 357th.FG. The German jet fighter was piloted by the famed German ace Maj. Walter Notwotny.
Sadly he became one of the first US pilots killed during the Korean conflict while flying a F-82 Twin-Mustang.
This was one of the two Mustangs he flew.

Finally got some paint on the cockpit!
The kit instrument panel wasn't anything special so I went with a decal from another source.
Scratchbuilt the fuel tank behind the armour plate and will ad the radio and battery later
Trial fitted the wings and fuselage, there maybe be a small gap but not too bad
