I bought this kit 15 years ago more or less for $15 cheap cheap then it had been open but not started decal sheet cut in one spot also.I kinda got out of the P-38 mode and it has thus sat till now.I just hope the decals are good enough to go forward if not another set will have to come forward. The only thing I might add extra is the belts.I did p/u some of the Alclad paint system when Mobile a few weeks back and this plane will be the test bed.

Nice one Kevin. Shoot some acrylic clear coat on the decals to lessen the chance of disintegration.

The Hasegawa P-38 can be a challenging build, but makes a fine model. I'm sure you will do well with this one. I have the same boxing in the stash if you need another set of decals. NP's.

    Cheers

That's a great airplane. I built a 1/24th scale flying model of one of those many moons ago. I'll be watching this build...

Well I finally got some half way decent pics of the pit.I made the O2 hose last night and cut off the moulded wiring on the radio to add some details here since it is so visible.I also started on Waldron S/belts last night were you make them up yourself,Pics...
