Will be doing this one as "White 1" flown by Ivan F. Pavlov.

This kit comes with P.E. and metal landing gear and it has a lot of parts 374 of them.

Looking good. If the shot was uploaded from your computer you could resize it down befor posting here.
 
Here are some sprue shots as I start on this one Wojtek and Geo have been very helpful on colors and pics thanks guys. I have read that some rivet detail needs to be removed from the rear of the fuselage as it would have been wooden.

To be honest you should check a picture of the Sturmovik you are going to make. Generally Il-2 had metal wings attached to 1941 and at the end of the war. In the middle period of WW2 these were wooden too. No rivets there. The same is with the rear part of the fuselage. It was either of metal/wood or of wood.
Also I would check on the wing type... strielka or doska.
