DONE: KI-48-I Type 99 (Lily) Group Build

Well after reading and looking at everyone's builds i thought I try my hand at another build.This will be totally OOB in 1/72, submitted as Catagory 2, for I have always wanted to build this plane.I will be doing the camo verison because there is a thin blue line for demacation between the Green and Brown I always thought would look sweet.Just how to make it happen uniformily?The history?got me looks cool,it belongs to 3rd Chutai 8th Hiko Sentai.The info provided is that the Army wanted a light,fast,manuverable attack bomber and this is what they got.It could reach a top speed of 480km/hr and cruise at 350km/hr for 6 hrs and climb to an altitude of 5000m in 10minutes.

Crew = 4
Length = 17.47m
wingspan = 15.85m
height = 3.8m
wing area = 40m2
weapons = 3 fixed 7.7mm
bomb load = 400kg
engine = 2@970hp Naka HA-25

Didn't think you'd be long in joining in! Looks like a nice kit Kevin, should be good. Don't know much about this kite, it's got the look of a Marin Baltimoe about it. Looking forward to the build mate.

The "Lilly" is a good choice, Javlin. Looks like it will be an interesting build. Good luck with it.
