Thanks again guys. I was surprised how different the B-17 looked in the blue. It was a this bird or one that was OD over light blue. I try and will post the history on build thread. I have the pilot info on the other B-17 but the tought of seeing an all blue B-17 was to much to pass.

Nice Job DBII. It was worth the wait through all the "I'll post pictures later" talk you kept feeding us.

    A+ for the Blue fort

A+ for the lead in Drama. LOL

I hope my "Old 666" comes out half as good and I look forward to your next build

What can I say guys, I'm just a little plane tease. Thanks for the comments. Drama was never part of the plan. I have to report that my hand has heeled and the college is open for the fall so I can use the computers. The MTO group build will be a little dull.

    Paint Color

What color paint did you use on this plane? How did you choose it, did you find any documentation on it? In the book "Fortress Against the Sun", the color was described as Glossy Light Blue Duco paint. Duco was automotive paint manufactured by DuPont at this time. Thanks.
