| ****FINSHED B-17E BLUE GOOSE, 11th BG, 7th AF DBII, (David) Beginer level Revell B-17F converted to B-17E 1/72 scale. Based on information found in Air Force Colors Vol 3, Squadron Signal publishing. A single B-17 E, #41-2616, was painted overall blue at the Hawaiian Air Depot as a test for over water patrols. The plane was assigned to the 11th BG, 7th AF. Unit members reported that the plane drew enemy fire during missions. The plane was lost over Shortland Harbour on 29 Sept 1942

| Thank you. The lack of a close up lens hides some problem areas. It is the first plane I have completed in over 30 years. I guess I will move up a level for MTO. DBII
