1/48 Fw-190F-8 "white 6" I/SG4 Italy 1944 Group Build

Here's my entry for the MTO group build, will be built OOB using the kit decals and paint guide. This will be my first Luftwaffe model since I got back into modelling, so all you Luftwaffe experts go easy!

Seriously though, I'm out of my comfort zone with this biuld, as I'm a complete novice when it comes to the Luftwaffe, give me the RAAF anyday!!

Anyway the Tamiya kit looks nice and relatively easy going (I hope), the profile is of the aircraft I shall be modelling.

Great choice! Really looking forward to see your work on this model.
Actually I was considering to do Fw 190F model in 1/72 for MTO GB myself. Might yet do so if everything goes well with my Hurricane model and if there will be plenty of time still left till end of this group build.

Good choice Andy - I found it tough to overlook a 3 Squadron or 112 Kitty - but I did!

I hear ya Pete, plenty of RAAF options for the med. Anyway here is some small progress, I've got the cockpit done and also put together the 250lb bomb that will hang underneath this beast.
Sorry for the poor quailty shots, my camera struggles with these close up shots.
