| Senior Member | like 3 and 3/4 by 4. Is that oK? I had to use a knife to cut it hence the jagged cut. |

| I think it should be enough.. Now hold your model with the left hand and the felt piece with right one.And rub along the leading edges for instance like you would be sanding with sandpaper. But the movement should be faster. The trick is that during rubbing some heat appeares and causes these scratches melting. But don't worry the model won't catch fire. Try to do that now.

| Senior Member | You said so it doesn't catch fire. I said **Watches model burning on the ground** That's what you think! Meaning, you thought it wouldn't burn but it did. Jokingly of course |

| Undoubtedly it is a joke. The base for the expression is that during rubbing the heat appears. It is like you would use two pieces of wood to set fire to watch-fire.I'm sure you know the method. Of course it doesn't happen to models.

| What a cool idea to use the felt to get rid of scratches. I never would of thought of that

| Do it to all model surfaces.Especially top of the fuselage, the bottom of fuselage and the nose with the chin both top and bottom. Also top of wings and the wing-fuselage transitions.
