| Thanks guys. This will be a slow start while I finish my Bf-110 (still filling and sanding) and while I collect references on the 262. |

| Nice work so far mate. I think they were metal tracks, so a dull reddish brown over dark steel for the tracks should work. If they wree rubber, which I doubt, due to the shortage of rubber and synthetic rubbers in Germany, then a dark grey colour would be ok. I'll see what I can dig out on the Ketten'.

| Great progress CR. How can you start a 262 and just put it away? I couldn't. Cheers Peter

| Willpower, mate. Willpower. Lots of Kettenkrad pictures on the net to go by Terry. I think it did have rubber (or synthetic) track feet. Here's one photo of many. |

| Yep, you're right. I totally forgot there was one at the place I used to do some talks at, stuck in a shed at the back of the tank park. Pressed metal track links, with rubber blocks. So, dark grey with 'ground' coloured weathering for the blocks, and a brown over metal for the track links.

| Thanks for looking Wayne. Do you have a link to the 2 O'clocks? I have pictures of other machines in KG 51 and they all seem unique in their camo application. |

| I might be able to help with the research on this one, I have an interest in KG 51 and Dierich's book on them at home.

| That would be great! There's a nice profile of 9K+BH in Squadron Walk Around and some photos of an unidientified KG 51 bird there too. The codes can't bee seen though. I like the squiggles that are supposedly on White Y and want to try that as my next air brushing challenge. |
