1st PLACE BEGINNER: 1/48 B-24D Liberator 'Fightin' Sam' Heavy Hitters Group Build

    Username: Maglar
    Category: 3
    Scale: 1/48
    Manufacturer: Revell
    Model Type: B-24D Liberator
    Details: scratch-built curtain, OOB

I would first off like to thank Paul and everyone else who contributed with reference pictures and information, with you all I wouldn't have had such a guiding hand. I would say this is my best model to date and has the most effort i've ever put into plastic. The journey isn't over though, I still have the tow truck and figures and a dio to build. This model will be a gift to my grandfather who turns 80 on March 18th.

(Also sorry for the makeshift photo booth, given the size of the model and it being night time I had to make do. I know the back right picture caught some shadow but it shouldn't interfere in a negative way. Also thought it would be better then my dirty workbench)

    Anyways, enjoy-

I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.

Nice work mate. A clearer, well lit set of pics would be helpful though.

    Excellent work! Most impressive.

In the realm of dog fighting, if it's a fair fight... you did something wrong.
