    **** FINISHED: 1/48 F-8E (FN) Crusader – French Ačronavale

    Username: Vic Balshaw
    First name: Vic
    Category: 2 – Intermediate
    Scale: 1/48
    Manufacturer: Revell/Hasegawa/Aires/me
Model Type: F-8E Crusader in the colours of an F-8E(FN) Crusader, No 37 of the French Ačronavale, Flottille 12.F. French Aircraft Carrier "Clemenceau" (R.9, 1980's.

This build though made from the basic Revell box kit, some of the more detailed parts were taken from the leftover parts of the Hasegawa F-8E Crusader and the Aires resin bits not used in my first Group 6 Build.

I would also like to add my sincere thanks to all of you Guru and would be Guru modellers for your comments and encouragement which most certainly lift the spirit and contribute to my motivation.

That looks fantastic. Very well done.

I believe they're going to use the scrap from Clemencau to erect a new tower in Middlesboro' - to be called the Smoggie Tower. Like the Eifel, but bigger, so it can be seen peeking through the smog clouds.........
