Looks good Greg, have you thought of mounting it to give the impression of flying.

Thanx for the encouragement and comments guys. I will hang this model from the ceiling in my basement, "flying next" to an older airfix kit I built of Bader's wingman Willie McKnight, a Canadian ace of 242 Squadron. The road to the airport in Calgary is named McKnight Blvd in his honour.

As for the decals I did use some Testors decal set. The airfix decals turned out quite well, however on the hasegawa and aftermarket decals the outlines showed up, particularly when using the camera . I'm not sure whether to try another coat of Tamiya acrylic clear or some testors decal solvent.

    Greg
