Hi guys I'm about to make a purchase of a Cr.42 the Classic Airframes kit and was wondering what colors the Italians used for their planes? I know its a pretty vague question but I have no clue how the decal sheet looks like!

Thanks!

Harry, these coulurs depend on a period of time and areas where these planes were used. Because Italian rules for camo schemes were quite general there was really variety of these. Here you are a couple of examples. Basicly these colours were a sand and dark green/ red-brown for mottling on top surfaces and a grey on undersides. For quick ID elements a yellow or white colour were used. I'm sending you a PM.

Thanks very much for the response Wojtek! Again sorry about how general the question is but there are 5 markings with the decals sheet and I still don't have the kit.
