Bunch of pictures I am collecting from Ebay. Thought that they might be useful for modelers as not to many people here that I have seen have built Japanese aircraft. Maybe this will inspire some more :)

Thanks guys, as I find more I will post them and yeah Wayne I got to say there where a few I had never seen before either. Thought they where pretty cool as it seems Japanese airplane books aways show the same pictures in them with very few new ones.

OK...Here is my contribution to this topic, if I got the picture from YOUR web site, I'm sorry for not giving you the credit (its not on purpose)...I have definitely collected these pictures from people with better collections then mine. Thank them...

I always had a soft spot in my heart for the aerocraft that where powered by the German inverted V12...their is something about the shape of these aeroplanes that really makes my heart sing. The BF109, Macchi C.202 Folgore, the IJA type 3 fighter, and the Heinkel He 100 (just to name a few), all share a nose profile...and yet the overall "feel" of the finished fighter couldn't be more different. From the deadly and vicious appearance of the ME109 to the grace and beauty of the Macchi 202, these fighters span the spectrum.

Anyway...this seemed like the thread to share some of the IJA type 3 pictures I have collected...please enjoy.

Some of these pictures get quite large if you "view image" (right click)...
