I recently acquired a collection of photos taken by the Chief Photographer's Mate of the USS MISSION BAY (CVE-59). Many of the photos show the aircraft on the deck, some in flight, and some crashed. Because there were four composite squadrons assigned to the ship during her WWII service, the only way to possibley identify the units and time period is to look at markings. If available, I need the following:

VC-58 (6 FMs/10 TBFs)--July/August 1943
VC-8 (FMs/TBFs)--December 1943
VC-36 (9 FMs/12 TBMs)--September/October 1944
VC-95 (9 FMs/10 TBFs)--March/April 1945

Try the "Wings Pallette" site and then type in aircraft type, they have great color side views of the aircraft there !
