| USN WWII tail letters I know this info is on here somewhere, but after searching for the thread it's in for 2 hours I can't find it. I'm looking for which tail letters (once they moved from geometric shapes) were for which carriers, specifically what carrier an aircraft with the letter "H" would be from, and which letter an aircraft from the USS Bunker Hill would have (I know it was an upward pointing arrow before it was changed) and also when was the change made from shapes to letters? Thanks for the help, again I know this info's on here somewhere, but I've gone through several pages of irrelevant info and figure someone's gotta either know where that post is or have the info. |
