Can any one find a 3 view of a Dornier Do-17z in winter camo? I have already looked on the Wings Palette website, and havent found a decent one.

Another good one would be any of the ones from the Condor Leigon, which I know have yellow on some parts of the plane.

I do have a 3 view in green camo for JG1 with the white bars on the rudder.

Here you are.... the winter camo was made by painting with white removable paint. The paint was applied on the summer standard camo scheme ( as it can be seen in the B&W pic ).The colour was on upper surfaces and sides. The undersides were left in the standard colour.Because the white paint was removable quite easy the summer camo could appear again at many places. These yellow quick ID elements are the standard ones for The Russian Front.

And here you are a few examples for the Spanish War. There is a full scan for the the 3-view profile with a caption in the Zip file . I hope these both posts will help you.

As always, great stuff Wojtek. :D

I copied the photos to my archives for future reference. :D

Thanks. :D

I think that there wasn't any yellow colour on these Do17s used by Condor Legion.Where have you seen that?

Werger, I owe you a BIG thank you, I havent checked this for a few days so I hadn't seen the reply. I do apologize for not responding sooner.

For the Condor Leigon yellow markings, I migh have mistaken them for being a part of the Condor Leigon since they had the Condor insignia on the front of the plane

WOW! Wojtek! You are THE man my friend! Do you by any chance have personal access to the Luftwaffe archives? :D :thumbright:

Thank you Jan mon frere.....:D It would be cool if I was able to rummage in the LW files.

Ikerus, it's OK.I'm didn't take any offence at you.

Do you have a pic of a such yellow marked Condor Legion machine? I'm asking because it seems that all ./88 unit planes were painted with camo schemes used for Luftwaffe machines at that time or were painted on all surfaces with the RLM63.For quick identification there were white painted rudders and wing tips. The unit emblem could be painted on the fuselage national markings and was usually white but not yellow.
