WW2 Profiles
I don't know if any members used this site, I found it excellent as a 'ready reckoner' for Luftwaffe unit markings and, in many cases, it identied a pilot to an aircraft to a time.

Recovering from a leg broken whilst skiing I had time to 'web crawl' and was disappointed to find site 'shut down'. I can't get an address for Michael Reimer can anyone shed any light?

Regards,

Weinace:cry::cry:

He posted that he was hassled with people objecting that what he posted (they were really small profiles which could only be used for reference) was copyrighted. He made no profit off of it and only wanted to create a reference work. He decided it was not worth the trouble and took it down. I used it to identify units of Japanese planes. A great site, it will be missed.

Thanks very much for information. It's pity that it seems so many people try to make a fuss out of anything!!
regards,
weinace:(
