Question 55th FG 343rd Fs P-51D pictures

Hello,

For a fligthsim repaint (kind of virtual modelling ) i am looking for WWII pictures (or accurate profiles) of the 343rd Fighter Squadron. In particular the following planes:

44-63745, CY-C, flown by Lt. Bernard H Howes
44-13907, CY-S, flown by Lt. William H Lewis (later promoted to Capt)
44-14175, CY-Q, flown by Lt. Brooks J. Liles

Any input would greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,

Marcel

Hi mgr,

Have you tried looking over at 8th Air Force Fighter Group - Littlefriends.co.uk yet?

They are a valuable resource and a wealth of info!

Yes, already found that site, together with www.55th.org lots of information, yet no full picture of either plane.

Regards,

Marcel

i'm ashamed overlooked those, just to be sure, of the CY-S only found a cockpit-section shot so far, no complete shots.

Thx already!

For CY-S I saw that shot too. The one above is the only somewhat complete on I have found so far. CY-C is being difficult to find, but im still looking. I will also keep a eye out for CY-S to hopefully find a bette shot.

Found this of CY-C, but still looking for something better.

This site has a bunch of profiles, enjoy!
