P-51D Mustang nicknamed "Miss....

Hello -

I'm searching at picture(s) of the P-51D Mustang nicknamed "Miss Marjorie" or "Miss Marjory".
USAAF Italy 194..

do you know the fighter group in which the Mustang belonged of the US 15th AF ?

you have to check the

31st
52nd
325th
332nd fighter groups for this bird.....

do a google search for each fighter group and see what comes up

No sorry no.
A friend of mine told me about a picture existing in an old "Aircam" book. Don't have a copy...

for starts the 31st and 325th fg have a web-site. contact the web-masters for a question of the name and maybe they have a log of the P-51's with names. this is quite common so you may be in luck....

The only Mustang with "Marjorie" that I can find is one that is called just "Marjorie", flown by Lt. Paul Burnett of the 4th FG, 334th squadron, based at Debden. The serial number was 44-72327.

If you have a pilot name or group/squadron or serial number, that would really help.
