| Looking through the database of the 8th AF, 339th FG shows: Lt. Jack S. Daniell of squad 505 flew P-51D number 44-14734 and 44-14745, both with the name Sweet 'n Low Down on the left side and Sweet and Lowdown on the right side. Perhaps this info might help in finding a photo or two...

| There are 3 photos of 44-14734 on Peter Randall's "Little Friends " site 8th Air Force Fighter Group - Littlefriends.co.uk he's expanding the 339th gallery but you can still see the images. Go to the "339th Gallery". 734 went to Steve Ananian who named it "Baby Mine"; Jack was then assigned 44-14745. Regards Nick |
