    Ardmore Airfield today.

Had a mooch around with some spare time today, will be doing more next week.

Also I will be setting a meet with a friend of my Fathers for the next couple of weeks. He is a surviving member of 617 Sqn RAF. We intend having a chat etc and getting some history recorded. I am trying to organise for old photos with him so that I can scan them.

Also he is part of the restoration crew for the MOTAT Lanc, and we are trying to work out a visit and access, will have spare batteries for the camera on that day. More to follow.

The catalina lying in the grass suprised me.

Got chatting to the guys from this place, Pioneer Aero and got the picis of the Sabre they are going to restore as a Gate Gaurd for the USA somewhere.

2 P-40s under restoration in the factory, shiny clean fuselages and Alison engines on stands, too much fun to be had.

That will be great if the Catalina is restored.

Life is short, walking around this lot passes the time well.
