Some New Acquisitions to Share

These are photos I recently acquired. Nothing spectacular, however, of note is the lineup of RAF Martin Baltimores. They were the reason I purchased the group of (4) photos. The B-24 Gun Turret isn't bad either. If anyone has background info on these subjects, please let me know. Hope you like them.

Those are really great photos. I think I would do some research.

Nice shots. Guessing it is a spread of time on the shots. Whereas the P39s were phased out for USAF by about 1943, the Italians flew them for the rest of the war. Also, that B24 is a later model. Could be from '42 to '44. All a guess.

Do you have any history on the shots?

Nice photos.

Looks like a war weary B-17E, stripped of armament and being used as a "hack".

Interesting.

Very cool shots. Any more?

I had never seen an aircraft completely disintegrate in the air the way this Me-110 did..."

Very cool, love the Baltimores, one of the great unknown a/c of WWII. Looks like the bloke on the wing is an Australian, which could mean the a/c are possibly from 454 or 459 sqn RAAF ? Just a thought.
