Bomb release mechanisms - Aircraft of World War II

I could do with some details of under wing bomb release mechanisms, the sort of thing fitted to a P 40.

What is provide in the kit I'm doing looks far to big and clumsy.Close ups or diagrams would be great.

Have you tried looking through this link, there are a ton of P-40 manuals located here to download.
