Indy plane

I was just watching Raiders of the Lost Ark and I was just wondering if anybody knows the name of the plane that Indiana Jones fights the engineer around in the desert German base. You know the flying wing aircraft with two props.
Does anybody know what that is, or is it a made up plane?
