Thats not a very nice way to keep members is it! I was under the impression that all here are aircraft fanatics and as such would be willing to help if possible.
Crippen...you sure set your bar high! If this is a first attempt at learning carb. parts, you couldn't have picked a harder one.. The various Merlin carbs are probably the most complicated ones ever! The Brits have an uncanny penchant for using ten little bits where one big one would work. A Merlin has about four times the pieces that an Allison has. And it's fifty cubic inches smaller! Granted, it's a much better engine, but a mechanic's nightmare.
