my suggestion is to by Jochen Prien/Peter Rodeike fantastic work :

Messerschmitt Bf 109 F, G,and K series

ISBN #0-88740-424-3 by Schiffer publications, copyright 1993

the book is premier and a classic and should be in every Luftw. reserachers library

does anybody knows how many G 5's exsist??
the only one i thought that exists is the one in a museum 5 Kilometers from my home.
