what is this small thing spotted on the flightline at old warden this year:

no that is not a model or anything like that. the avro tuto behind and the people gives some idea of scale.

I just did a google search for the registration number; it seems to be a Chilton DW.1/1

your correct it is a chilton dw 1 tirst reqistered in 1937 and now owned by a guy in coventry its powered by a 32 hp carden ford engine

i dont think the wingspan is even that. 12ft at tops. if you do not believe it can fly i have pictures to prove it:
