      With it's port engine running, the crew of this Wellington IA, N2912:LG-G of 11 Operational Training Unit, pose for the 'Flight' photographer at RAF Bassingbourn, July 1940. At this stage of the war, operational Wellington units usually had a crew of six, the extra member being an extra pilot but as this is a training unit, it may include instructors, or 'screened pilots'.
