Shown here are victorious Japanese infantrymen surrround what appears to be either a) a 305 mm (12 in) M1895 or M1895MI gun, on Carriage Barbette, M1917, or b) a 305 mm (12 in) M1900 gun, on Carriage, Disappearing, M1901LF. If the former the gun belonged to either Battery 'Smith' or Battery 'Hearn' of Fort Mills on Corregidor. If the latter the gun belonged to either Battery 'Cheyne', Battery 'Crockett' or Battery 'Wheeler', also of Fort Mills on Corregidor.
