Just for info... the two escorts are Fokker G.1a fighters. I am not sure about the bomber but they are all in early Dutch markings, approx. 1938. Thanks for the post.

this is a painting by thijs postma , showing the attack on the moerdijkbridges on 13-05-1940 to stop the german armoreddivisions in may 1940 , this was the last attack by a dutchbomber a FOKKER T5 (and also the last fokker T5 bomber left)the 2 fokker g1a's where flown by lt.vl. Sandberg with sergt. v.d. Breemer and lt.vl. Schoute with sergt. Lindner. the crew of the fokker T5 bomber where lt. W.F. Anceaux, lt .B. Swagerman,sergt g.A. Riemsdijk, sergt O.W. Douwes-Dekker and sold-gunner J. Wijnstra, the raid was unsuccesfull and on the way back they encountered 9 bf109e's , the T5 and the G1A of Schoute-Lindner where shoot down killing both crews.

Correct story, renmo. The attack happened about 1 mile east of where I live. Since a couple of years there's a small monument remembering this attack on the north side of the bridge.
