I will never get tired of that! Was that in the Sandbox? Looked too lush with greenery, but can't imagine anywhere else you could be to see a run up that close with live ammo.

I think the main reason I like the A-10 would be that gun! That thing must scare the hell out of the enemy!
I also like the A-10, because it is this old, many thought past it's prime plane, no fancy electronics compared to a new fighter or aircraft, but it stills kicks ass!
Basic and brutal.

definitely not AZ at Gila Bend, nor anywhere near Nellis. Trees like that make me think SE like Seymour Johnson or even Eglin AFB at Range 52.

We are nearly at point where we have the 3000+ member photos consolidated from our 355th Reunion as Davis Monthan. As soon as I get the CD I'll post some of the firing runs taken from the range control tower ~100 yards away from the runs.
