Wow. I couldn't tell if the guy was an accomplished pilot or was if the copter was out of control the whole time. Didn't see the loop coming! I just thought he was going to auger in the ground.

Officials said the helicopter crashed at the West Desert Air Park, located near 600 North and 18100 West in the town of Fairfield.

Officials said stunt pilot Dennis Kenyon was performing a practice maneuver called a "wingover." The helicopter looped and then unexpectedly crashed.

Initial reports said Kenyon was bleeding from the head, but the injury was believed to be minor. Kenyon was the only person in the helicopter.

Kenyon says the crash was his mistake.
