8th FS, 49th FG

I found this website and one of the pilots who flew in this fighter squadron posted a bunch of pictures he took while flying with them in 1943/44. Theres a bunch of intersting stuff in addition to the two photo albums.

Theyre quite interesting.

Excellent topic sys! I've been interested in the 49FG especially their time spent defending the top end of Australia.
