The odd thing is, I got that photo from an issue of "Wingspan" (May '95) and even they weren't exactly sure what it was! They printed the photos with the original captions translated and according to the caption the wings were, "clad in 2mm thick copper sheet."
I only recognised it from an entry in an Italian encyclopedia. Did they really paint it pink at both ends?!...
Trying to make it harder now...
