Perhaps we need a sub-heading for this!?
It is a long shot - but I'll try anyway. Has anyone come across any information about the exploits (or otherwise) of RAF Fighter-pilot Arthur Garrood - a Londoner, who didn't survive ww2.
Sorry, but his rank is not known to me, nor the theatre of operations he was involved in. But who knows - with such an unusual name - something may come up.

CWGC :: Casualty Details

Flight sergent Arthur Garrood RAFVR 213 Squadron. Killied 13/04/1943 in North Africa (grave can be found at Alamein).
