| Senior Member | B-32 Dominator What are your thoughts on this plane. A quote I read says " The gun turrets and landing-gear doors were sources of trouble". Then prototypes problems were leeking oil, poor cooling and as I said before there was trouble with the landing-gear and top turrets. Do you think that If the problems and teething issues were fixed that it could've been an effective bomber in the Korean War? |

| The B29 (and later the B50) was a far superior bomber in every regard. Even still, the B29 was obsolescent by the Korean war, so the B32 would have been even more out of date. Sort of like having the Martin B10 as a front line bomber when the war started in 1939. Its too bad the B32 didnt have its bugs worked out sooner as it would have made a good replacement for the B17 and B24 in the last year if the war.
