b10 bomber blueprint

just wanted to share a amazing find. a original blueprint of the b10 bomber. we have taken it to a couple of museums and they verified it original. for what i understood this blueprint was one of dustin carter's collection piece. the blueprint is 81 x 36 inches.

Wow. What a find! An old ammonia type blueprint. Looks to be in good shape. Be VERY careful with that in regards to exposure to the sunlight. It doesn't take much at all to fade them. They really weren't designed to last a long time.

Too bad that stamp is on the front. That was a bit of a mistake, IMHO.

What a find!!!! Holy cow!!!!! I think I'd be looking for a way to preserve it. Way to go Briguy.

Are there any other markings on it? Oftentimes, printrooms would put a datestamp on prints to enable users to identify the latest copies. If you had two copies of a print, you'd toss the older one and use the newer one.

Also we'd mark them "reference only" or something like that, depending on who would get them. Not always, but usually.

(As you may have noticed, I've been hanging around engineering offices for some time)

here is part of a email we got from the martin museum: Hi,

The YB-10 and YB-12 were the same aircraft with different engines. The YB-10 & 12 were considered pre-production versions of the B-10 for testing. They were all part of Martin design M-139. The drawing is certainly original and obviously rare.
