| Bristol Beaufighter Coastal Command I know that the posts are not supposed to be short but I just have one question: Did the coastal command variant of the Beaufighter ever carry rockets and machine guns in the wings? I thought that it did but i read in an article that it could only use guns or the rockets/bombs fittted, and not both due to weight, is this true? Any good pictures of coastal command beaufighters would be appreciated Thank you |

| Senior Member | The machine guns were removed to accommodate extra fuel tanks. As for pictures ![]() You don't get much cooler than that!
