How much is £160,000 in US dollars ?

The story of his leg being flown to him, while a POW, is quite a tale...

Remember reading "Reach For The Sky" many years ago. Was a great story then and is still a great story.

I doubt if the late Gp Capt Bader's legs were that shapely, or that he wore high heels! Given his reputation, I wouldn't have wanted to be someone that suggested that he was 'that way' inclined - if you get my drift!

buying a prostetic leg....that just seems wrong on a fundemental level though i can't help but think Bader would laugh at the thought that someone would pay good money for one of his wooden legs.
