Country: | And in any case, incorrect. In British Army parlance, at least, a 'gun' is the next step up from a cannon. Hence the oft-repeated phrase of weapon instructors in my cadet section;
"Its not a bloody gun, its a weapon. Guns have TRACKS!!!!"

Country: | Most Army instructors are turds though. Something with tracks is normally a tractor or a tank.

Country: | I think the point was that if we got the kids thinking of a gun something AS90 kind of size, they might start valling thier Individual Weapons...well...Individual Weapons
And not all the instructors were turds...I was one of 'em!

Country: | I know of a Paladin which blew up because the shell got caught in the chamber. Maybe that's what he's talking about.
That one incident can't be a solid foundation for building up the image of the Paladin being a waste of money.

If he is implying that the Paladin is used by the Iraqis then he needs to get his facts straight. I just want to know what he is talking about.

Honestly! | Yes but that is quite irrelevent. The war is killing his buddies not him. We lost helicopters down there and the helicopter did not kill them and I dont think the Blackawk is a waste of money.
