EA-191

Does anyone have any further information on a Mustang project called EA-191? It was to have a Rolls Royce-Merlin 61 positioned behind the cockpit-Airacobra fashion. Advantages included 'better visibility for the pilot'. Reached the mockup stage according to a book 'Innovations in Aircraft Construction' by Hans Redemann.

Woahh, that's the Griffon-Mustang I was looking for. Or at least it's probably the grain of truth behind the story.

Thanks John! Appreciate your effort. Do you have any further details? Would have been an interesting aircraft.
