| EA-191 Does anyone have any further information on a Mustang project called EA-191? It was to have a Rolls Royce-Merlin 61 positioned behind the cockpit-Airacobra fashion. Advantages included 'better visibility for the pilot'. Reached the mockup stage according to a book 'Innovations in Aircraft Construction' by Hans Redemann. |

| Woahh, that's the Griffon-Mustang I was looking for. Or at least it's probably the grain of truth behind the story. |

I suspect that this is just a 'doodle' rather than an authentic project, but its interesting. From this site... Download X.Toff books | |
