The Fighter Factory is an airplane restoration facility run by the Aviation Institute of Maintenance. It operates with a permanent staff of eight craftsmen and mechanics. We restore World War Two Aircraft and are located in Suffolk Virginia USA. Feel free to browse around. We have pictures of fully restored aircraft and warbirds in progress.

Fighter Factory

Crossbones
Do you have any photos of the tail of the Bf 109 under construction?
Are there any photos that show the construction of the bare metal frame of the rudder under construction before and after covering with fabric?
Thanks

Wow does not look at that much different from my Blackhawk. You can see the longerons and stringers, the tail wheel strut and the cable pullies. It actually looks very similiar then the tail boom and cone on my Blackhawk.
